Writing about lead marketing was indeed a spontaneous decision on my part. I solemnly hope that this was a wise decision that I had made.

Internet Marketing For Online Business Newbies

Starting an online business has become very popular among many
people of all backgrounds throughout the world. It doesn't matter
if you are a high-school graduate, or you're completing your
third trimester of your second year in Chiropractic School. Any
person with the desire to work from home can start an online
business. Especially now more than ever with all the turnkey
websites, "all-in-one" marketing solutions and such, one can
literally have a business up and running within 24 hours.

It's well known that nearly 95% of all online businesses will not
succeed. So what exactly "makes or breaks" an online business?
Simply put, the type of marketing used.

Internet marketing is as hard as you make it. It can be very
hard getting past the "learning curve", but once you do, nothing
will stop the checks coming in month after month.

We'll begin our internet marketing lesson with 7 small, but very
powerful forms of advertising that can yield tremendous profits
for you if used correctly!

1) Article Submission

Writing articles are one of the oldest forms of advertising on
the internet. Whatever kind of business you do, write about it!
Most articles written are between 500-1000 words. The way you
advertise through articles is by having a "byline" or "resource
box" at the end of the article. For an example, please look at
the bottom of this article to see what one looks like.

After you have written an article of your business topic, you
will then want to submit them to Article Directories or Websites
that will publish the article you wrote. Here are some good
submission sites:

http://www.webpronews.com/submit.html
http://www.boconline.com/sub-art.shtml
http://www.powerhomebiz.com ermsofuse/articlesubmission.htm
http://www.promotionworld.com/pop/feedback/submitarticle.html
http://www.businessknowhow.com/newsletter/articleguidelines.htm

These should get you started, but if you would like more, or
these aren't towards your business, simply do a search at your
favorite search engine for "submit article".

2) Participating in Active Forums

In most forums or discussion groups, they allow you to include a
little "signature ad" following every post you make. If you are
fairly knowledgeable in your business area and post good answers
to help people, more readers will be curious about you and will
click on your link and be directed to your website.

Some great forums dedicated to internet marketing are:

http://www.howtocorp.com/forum/
http://www.williecrawford.com/cgi-bin/index.cgi

3) Pay Per Click / Google Adwords

If you're not familiar with this type of advertising, please
don't be completely turned of by the title. Yes, you do need to
pay for some advertising. And using pay per clicks (ppcs for
short) allow you to drive very targeted traffic to your website.
With a PPC, you literally "bid" on whatever keywords your
potential customers will search for.

Another great way to grab traffic before you have to shell out
your money is by utilizing Google Adwords. TO learn more about
this, please visit Google Adwords tips at:

4) Search Engine Optimization

Let's face it.. The best kind of traffic is free traffic, right?
There are a ton of ways to get traffic to your website, but in
my opinion, this is the most cost effective. After all, it's
free! Search Engine Optimization requires a great deal of
knowledge of how search engines work, but it's definitely not an
impossible feat by any means. The basic rule of thumb is to
create a website in such a way that your visitors will want to
come back. Also, create a website that will make others want to
link to your site, without any required link back to theirs.

Some great SEO (search engine optimization) resources are:

http://www.searchenginestrategies.biz
http://www.bruceclay.com/web_rank.htm

5) Paid Advertising On High Traffic Sites

Sometimes, you will find a website that allows advertising on
their site. For a reasonable price, they will display your link
and sometimes a description for a weekly or monthly fee.

One of the best ways to find websites that offer advertising is
quite simple actually. You simply go to your favorite search
engine, search for your businesses best keyword phrase and look
through the results. These are the people you will want to
partner with, especially if they receive a good amount of
traffic. A good way to know if they receive a good deal of
traffic to their site is by a neat tool called the Alexa toolbar.
You can go directly to that site and download this tool, or you
can simply go to :http://www.alexa.com and search for their site.
When you get the results, it will say something like "Traffic
Rank for ________.com : 2,445". The main thing to remember is,
the *lower* the traffic rank, the *more* traffic that website
receives. So, a site with a traffic rank of 26,983 receives more
traffic than a site with a traffic rank of 76,990.

6) Joint Ventures

A Joint Venture (JV for short) is just that. It's a venture that
you do jointly with one or more parties. This method isn't only
limited to those with their own product, as many people think.
The way this works is by setting up a deal with a person who has
a very large customer base already. What you do is literally
"tap into" their resources. You see, they have already done the
hard part (creating a list of people who have already bought
from them). Now all you do is simply email them with a special
proposal, and have them recommend your product/service to their
list. This alone can product thousands of website visitors to
your website. And in the end, can yield massive profits for you
if done properly.

7) Having Your Own Affiliate Program

Generally speaking this form of advertising typically applies to
those with their own products or services to sell. For example,
if you create an information "how-to" digital ebook. Many times
your merchant account will have a built in affiliate program
manager that will allow people to join, and promote your product
or service for a certain percentage that you determine.

Some great affiliate program managers that I have personally have
used and recommend are:

http://www.clickbank.com
http://www.quickpaypro.com
http://www.homebasedbusinessindex.com/webhost.html (built in
web hosting as well)

The main thing to remember when marketing your business is to
keep your potential customers/visitors in mind. Build a website
that caters to their needs and wants. If you utilize these
resources for internet marketing, you will see the success that
most individuals never truly see. Even though what is listed
above gives a great starting point, don't limit yourself to
what's listed above only. If you truly want to succeed with your
online business, study the "Art of Internet Marketing". Give
yourself room for improvement, and never think you know enough to
"get by" either. Internet Marketing changes as time does, so
keep the ball in your court, and have fun while playing ;)

Logitech Cordless Rumblepad 2 with Vibration Feedback (963326-0403)
The Logitech Cordless Rumble Pad II for PC gives you 30 feet of gaming freedom with no lag! Its high-speed data transfer at 2.4 GHz cordless operates at a 30-foot range. The gamepad combines vibration feedback and superior control with reliable, lag-free cordless freedom. More than 100 hours of battery life.

Customer Review: Almost perfect

I tend to like most of my purchases, and this controller is definitely one of them.

It's ergonomic, heavy (thus stable), highly sensitive, and has a nice feeling in the hands. Battery life is acceptable, and its layout goes well with many games. Basically it has what I want from a good controller.

I'd been exclusively using this controller (I had two different ones as well), until I got an Xbox 360 one. Due to built in support in "Games for Windows" products of the xbox controller, I unfortunately stopped using the Logitech one.

Unless you're going exclusively for GFW titles, for a different price range, and this is still the best choice I know.

Customer Review: Excellent Product

This controller does exactly what it says it can do. I am very pleased with this product.

Don't Bug Me Patch (20/box)

Don't Bug Me Patch (20/box)
The "Don't Bug Me! Patch" is perfect for:

Outdoor enthusiasts
Busy families
Small children
Employees who work outdoors
People allergic to mosquito bites
People with sensitive skin
People who are in and out of the water

Customer Review: They didn't bug me (mostly)

I bought this product before a family vacation back in July. My husband isn't bothered by mosquitos and such and likes to spend a lot of time outdoors, but the kids and I always end up bitten. We wore the patch through swimming, hiking in the woods and playing, and into the evening hours (to watch 4th of July fireworks). We had 2 bites between the three of us-- a LOT less than usual, especially considering that at home I usually get bitten within 5 minutes of setting foot outside.

Minuses: You DO smell like vitamins after a while. I didn't notice it much while I wearing it, but when the kids wore it separately, I could smell it as soon as they walked up to me. (Maybe I'll save it for when my girls are teenagers and going out on dates!)

Pluses: It works. It is convenient--just peel and stick. I removed half the paper liner at a time, and that kept the patch under control when applying it. I thought the kids would complain when I removed them, but it wasn't as bad as removing a band aid. (I put the patch on a hairless area, and used a steady pull, no sudden rips. Maybe the previous reviewer put it on a sensitive area? I have used the hip and thigh, and that seems to work OK.) It lasted all day. I didn't have to worry about bug spray on the kids (the younger one still sucks her thumb), or have to carry the spray can around.

So four stars instead of five because of the vitamin smell, and because we did get a couple of bites. It worked better for us than all but the strongest bug sprays (deep woods off), and was a lot more convenient. I will buy this produce again when the box runs out.

Customer Review: Don't Bug Me Patch

This product definitely did NOT work for me. I even used 2 patches at a time as we are in an area with heavy mosquito population due to the rain. I personally would NOT recommend this product.

SPIN Selling

SPIN Selling

The international bestseller that revolutionized high-end selling!

Written by Neil Rackham, former president and founder of Huthwaite corporation, SPIN Selling is essential reading for anyone involved in selling or managing a sales force. Unquestionably the best-documented account of sales success ever collected and the result of the Huthwaite corporation's massive 12-year, $1-million dollar research into effective sales performance, this groundbreaking resource details the revolutionary SPIN (Situation, Problem, Implication, Need-payoff) strategy.

In SPIN Selling, Rackham, who has advised leading companies such as IBM and Honeywell delivers the first book to specifically examine selling high-value product and services. By following the simple, practical, and easy-to-apply techniques of SPIN, readers will be able to dramatically increase their sales volume from major accounts. Rackham answers key questions such as “What makes success in major sales” and “Why do techniques like closing work in small sales but fail in larger ones?”

You will learn why traditional sales methods which were developed for small consumer sales, just won't work for large sales and why conventional selling methods are doomed to fail in major sales. Packed with real-world examples, illuminating graphics, and informative case studies - and backed by hard research data - SPIN Selling is the million-dollar key to understanding and producing record-breaking high-end sales performance.

Customer Review: How to Find the Hot Issues that Mattered Most to Your Customers

If Solution Selling: Creating Buyers in Difficult Selling Markets is the comprehensive guide to selling intangible, complex solutions, then SPIN Selling is the comprehensive guide to asking customers questions to find our what mattered to them most.

SPIN Selling is definitely NOT the first book that guides sales people in the art of asking questions, but it's definitely the one that puts it in the most elegant way.

That said, it will be a mistake to assume that SPIN Selling is the cure-all for asking customers. The Science of Influence: How to Get Anyone to Say "Yes" in 8 Minutes or Less! will be a good companion to better understand the human psyche.

Customer Review: Spin Selling Review

I am account manager for an ERP Consulting company. This book really opened my eyes for the first time to the different styles of selling. Neil does an excellent job of exposing flawed selling styles and techniques in major account sales: such as using high pressure sales, using closing technigues, giving advantages and not direct benefits, and not solving problems for the client. I would highly recommend this book to anyone that is looking to learn how to do sales well; specifically in major sales.

Memory Foam Seat and Lumbar Cushions

Memory Foam Seat and Lumbar Cushions
The "memory foam" that NASA developed for comfortable take-offs is now available in a portable seat cushion system for car, office or ball game. The memory foam visco-elastic cushions utilize thermo-sensitive properties to conform to any body shape or position, alleviating pressure points. The height of the lumbar back cushion can be adjusted to provide support exactly where you need it. The seat has an orthopedically designed wedge shape for better spinal alignment and a cutout section to relieve painful pressure on the tailbone. This seat is so comfortable that you will want to take it everywhere, which is easy thanks to the folding design and included carry bag. Measures 15"x16"x6" folded and weighs 2.1 lbs. A caring gift for anyone that spends time in a car or at a desk.

Customer Review: Not bad, but no worth the price...

This cushion is not bad, but I do have some things I wish I would have known before purchasing it. I am a pretty big guy about 6' 2" and over 250. The foam is really thick and it adds to your hight in your vehicle. I cannot use it in the car because my head pushes on the ceiling. Also the strap on the back are short and cannot wrap around the car seat, so it moved every time I took a turn. I became frustrated and put it in my office chair, and the straps were barely able to wrap around it. The foam holds up for a few hours, but after constant use it becomes flat and useless. I gave up on using the lumbar support and just folded it over and set on a really high foam cushion. If you are looking for something for your car I would not recommend this.

So what is your verdict on this composition on network marketing? Are there anymore unanswered questions about network marketing in your mind?

A network marketing Artilce for Your Viewing
Beware of Internet Marketing Dream Merchants

There are so many different business opportunities available on the Web; the never-ending stream of offers that will lead you to untold riches. Everybody claims to have the "inside knowledge" that will put you on Easy Street! Sounds familiar, doesn't it?

That scenario is particularly painful for Internet beginners lacking the advanced researching skills of more seasoned Netizens. Nevertheless, is there a way for most inexperienced surfers to ascertain the initial merits of a particular offer?

There is a general procedure to dissect and examine most Internet Marketing offers, in broad terms. The bulk of the offers can be classified into two categories: Dream Merchants and Web Specific Products. They have unique qualities that are very obvious once you study them. Follow me and I'll show you how to recognize each one.

The Dream Merchant:

I'm going to describe a real world, brick-and-mortar analogy to help you understand what the Dream Merchant sells. Let's say you walk into a retail outlet and the sales clerk mentions an idea that's going to make you rich! He sounds very excited and full of enthusiasm!

He then continues to tell you all the benefits you'll get from the "great idea." Curiously, every time you ask him what it is, he never gives you a strait answer! He continues to pump you up while never revealing what it is he's selling. By now, your expectation is at a fever pitch; you gotta have it!

So you corner the silver tongued sales clerk and ask him, point blank. He then produces a little book and informs you that it contains the "great idea" and it will cost you $100! You pay for the book and he quickly scampers out the door with your money. As you open it, it says: Do to the next guy what I just did to you!

I know the above scenario is rather simplistic but it does occur all the time on the Web. That kind of business is selling you a dream! The dream is the product! You must continue to sell the dream to the next guy. Do you want to become a Dream Merchant? I don't think so!

Beware of any company that requires an up-front investment to become an affiliate member. They pump you up with dreams of big money and the good life. Then the pressure starts for you to purchase all kinds of products from them. Some of the items are ordinary household supplies; quite mundane! Let's face it: When was the last time you heard anybody getting excited about dishwashing liquid?

Web Specific Products:

As you investigate online business opportunities I'm sure you've become aware of needs that are specific to Web based businesses. No matter what a Website is selling, its owner will purchase some items that are necessary for doing business on the Internet.

Another thing about selling Web business specific products is that you are, in fact, selling a product. That is such a comforting thought! There is a basic demand for your product and it doesn't matter if your family or friends buy a heap of them!

The list of Web specific products is endless, here are a few:

Domains: You gotta have a name!

Hosting: Every Web business needs a home.

Website Design: Build and decorate your home. Writing: Fill your home with content.

Copywriting: Write about your product and make it sell!

Images: Let folks see what it looks like.

The products above are the most basic items an Internet centered business needs. A name for its business and a place to call home; the ability to do a written presentation with images. You can't go wrong selling any of those listed products. The competition will be great but you'll have an endless supply of new customers.

The following products are of a secondary nature. I'm including them because they will gain importance as we go into our Broadband future. As a matter of fact, most will be considered a necessity! Some are already widely used but will have new features when implemented for Broadband.

Audio:

When visitors hear your voice it lets them know you are a person, not just a Website.

Video:

So much better! You can present products, lessons, courses. Video is going to be big!

Scripts:

A great way to build an Opt In list and discover the buying habits of your visitors. Scripts can be used in so many ways to enhance your visitor's experience.

AutoResponders:

Follow up to the initial customer contact is so important. A Sequential AutoResponder is a must for doing business on the Web. If you haven't already, get one!

Of course, there are many more Web specific business products. Most are connected with promotion and advertising. Some that come to mind: Traffic exchanges, message boards, linking automation applications, turnkey website packages, just to name a few.

When all is said and done, you're the only person that will make the decision about your business choice. However, if you are more comfortable selling a real product that fulfills a real need, the list is endless! The Web is so young it guarantees the supply of new customers will continue for many, many years to come.
